How to avoid muscle and eye strain when using a computer
It is amazing that you may only think you are going to use your computer for 5 minutes but find you actually spend more than an hour! This link to the Health and Safety Executive leaflet will give you guidance on reducing muscle and eye strain.

Basic Computer Skills Tutorials

Southdown Methodist Church 'learnIT.Café' is a registered partner centre for the BBC's free 'webwise' course which teaches you everything you need to know about the internet and e-mail.

Another useful BBC site is 'Computer Tutor' which is an 'online guide to using a computer.

The British Government also have a website, 'myguide', with very easy to understand tutorials e.g. Starting with Computers covering the basics of using a mouse and keyboard on a computer. Other tutorials include security, e-mail, using the web etc.

Files, Folders and Drives

One of the most popular requests we are asked at 'learnIT.Café' is understanding how to Save a file and then find it again!
