Manipur Christian School
In our congregation are two Trustees for the Manipur Christian School who over the years have shared the vision of building a Christian School in North East India.
So often projects may only last one to two years, but the school project has been running for nearly twenty years, from the initial vision, building the first teaching block to extending the school through an additional teaching block, teachers houses and dormitories for some of the children who board. As well as providing the funds for buildings the trust also introduced child sponsorship for children of parents who are too poor to send their children to school.

Aveiro Methodist Church Portugal
We have set up a "Twin Service" which takes place when there is a 5th Sunday in the month.
The church in Aveiero and Southdown aim to sing the same hymn or song, hence the need to give a Mission Praise music book.
We choose a prayer, which we have to say in English and they translate into Portuguese - they speak much better English than we do Portuguese anyway!

Methodist Relief and Development Fund - celebrating 21 years of small miracles. A safe place to sleep for a child living on the streets, fresh vegetables grown on previously barren land, a group working together to bring clean water to their village: these are just a few of the small miracles made possible by the work of MRDF's local partners.
